Why I Coach

Coaching is MY better place.
After 26 years in Human Resources and Corporate Training and Development, I found my life purpose in Executive and Professional Coaching.
But why? Why coaching?
I coach because coaching utilizes everything that I am at this stage of my life. I bring my personal and professional experiences, education, values, talents and skills to every coaching engagement. I thank God every day that I get to do what I do best and what I love to do every day.
I coach because I help others grow. Coaching gives every client the quiet space to explore new ways of thinking, feeling, behaving, and changing. I live for that “a-ha” moment when a client has a breakthrough and sees their world in a bright new light.
I coach because everyone has goals. Goals may be physical or spiritual. Goals may be emotional or educational or social. Every client has goals, dreams, and needs that require laying a path to their better place.
I coach because I believe coaching works. Through powerful questions and active listening, an effective coach helps you explore your options and determine your best way forward to that better place.
I coach because every session of every engagement is unique. There are no scripts in coaching, no “5 steps to success.” Every client brings their unique needs and viewpoints to the coaching table for an open and honest exploration. Coaching sessions are real-time and real-life conversations that are solutions-focused, future-oriented, and strengths-based.
I coach because it is a deeply human activity. Coaching can increase a client's self-awareness, raise their self-esteem, and build their self-confidence. Coaching gives you added meaning to your career and ambitions. Coaching allows someone to discover their potential and then provide the will and confidence to go there.
I coach because of the relationships I build. Once your coach, always your coach.
I coach because coaching is MY better place. What is YOUR better place?
