Bio
You may have been in your specialist or managerial role for the past few months or even five to ten years and are starting to wonder if there is not anything else out there for you. The problem is that you are not sure who you are, what it could be or even if the NHS, or more broadly the healthcare sector, may still be the place for you. You may have recently got into a new managerial role and are still waiting for that conversation with your manager that will reveal some key nuggets of wisdom in leadership. You have come across a few leaders who seem to have it all but you now get a sense that you will have to figure it all out by yourself. You have not fully experienced the imposter syndrome yet but every now and then you wonder if you belong to that role as much as you had hoped. Perhaps all the leadership events you have attended have not yet helped you to get rid of that feeling that you are continually treading water. There are also times when what you have been asked to do as a manager when it comes, for instance, to “managing” staff on long term sickness may not be how you had imagined yourself to be as a supportive manager. You wonder if it is just you and, if not, how come this seems to be the accepted norm. You may also have wondered if some of the challenges you have been facing like this question of belonging are not in part due to your experience as a Cross-Cultural Kid (yes when looking at the definition this seems to resonate with you!). Sounds familiar? I can help you in (re)discovering that sense of purpose, belonging or direction in a way that makes it authentic, personal and therefore sustainable. Please book a 45 minute chat, free of charge or obligation, so that we could explore how I could help.

Guidance and Expertise Provided

I support my clients, mainly managers and leaders in the healthcare sector, to get hope and resolution in their careers, leadership or career-related issues. In particular I often assist them in successfully addressing challenges such as managing conflict and/or holding courageous conversations.

I do this by creating the space that allows them to review how they see themselves and the world around them so as to identify and achieve their own measures of success.
