A lecturer and researcher in the field of Medical Microbiology in a University in Nigeria with about 30 years of teaching and research experience; I have passion for imparting knowledge and can explain complex concepts and make it easily understable to my students. I have been given the best lecturer award more than once by the students I teach. This ability to teach has helped shaped my career in teaching, coaching and mentoring of both students and colleagues. I have been invited severally by different organizations to speak at conferences and annual meetings to deliver Keynote addresses. I organise workshops and seminars on soft skills such as Time management, anger management, handling differences in healthy ways; healthy and Effective communications in marital relationships. I am also a certified facilitator of the Save your marriage before it starts assessment of Dr. Les and Leslie Parrot. I am the Chairman, Board of Trustees for the New Generation Girls and Women Development Initiative. I am also a member of the Educate, Engage and Empower Initiative of the African Women Summit, Nigeria Chapter. I have led wome Organizations in my Institution such as the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, Ekiti State University (EKSU) Chapter; National Association of Wimen in Academics EKSU Chapter.
