To my arts friends, I'm a business guy. To my business friends, I'm an arts guy. One grandfather suspected I might be a spy. I'm not, but I do love blending in.

Here's the through line: for more than 25 years, my work has been about bringing people together and helping them make sense of each other. I spent two decades curating concerts, festivals, radio stations, and community events across the nonprofit, philanthropy, and arts worlds. If you want a crash course in reading a room, try producing a festival. You learn to feel the shifts, notice who isn't being heard, and adjust in real time. Those instincts turned out to be the foundation for everything I do now.

Today I work as a facilitator, leadership coach, and consultant, helping organizations and the people who lead them navigate change, complexity, and growth. Along the way I've noticed something: the smartest teams aren't the ones with the best ideas. They're the ones who can actually hear each other. Most team problems are really translation problems. Different backgrounds, different assumptions, different definitions of what "good" even looks like. I've spent my career learning how to close that gap, in concert halls and boardrooms, classrooms and executive retreats.

As a coach, I'm not here to hand you answers. Most people who come to me are looking for someone to help them think more clearly about a problem they've been carrying around longer than they'd like to admit. I bring honest questions, a different vantage point, and enough patience to sit with the messy middle until something useful comes into focus. Coaching is a conversation that changes how you see the problem. Once that shifts, the solution usually isn't far behind.

On paper, it looks like this: Certified Master Facilitator, an Executive MBA from the McCombs School of Business at UT-Austin, and Certified Leadership and Executive Coach through the Jindal School of Management at UT-Dallas. So my methods are grounded in evidence-based models. My instincts, though, come from years of reading rooms, not textbooks.
