I began my career with content marketing, with heavy emphasis on copywriting and copy editing roles. As I grew as a professional, I began expanding my skill sets to other areas of branding, marketing, and PR. Unlike strict copywriters, I have experience running photo and video shoots, planning last-minute events, engaging with the public, pitching media outlets, laying out websites, running client meetings, and managing freelancers/consultants. In short, I'm a very sociable writer/editor who happens to enjoy the power of words, and who enjoys building coach-client relationships even more.
As a former account executive for a PR firm in Chicago, I enjoy forming relationships with clients and making their goals a reality. This can include general consulting questions or more in-the-weeds execution of particular strategies we've agreed upon together.
One of the most fun aspects of the client relationship for me is hearing what a client's big dreams are, whittling that down to what is feasible due to financial or time constraints, and delivering solutions the client is excited about.
