Bio
Yvonne is a first hand person example of grit, tenacity and resilience in the face of great adversity. A Learning and Organisational Development professional with a Master’s degree in Business Economics and over twenty years experience in leading training activities of national and global companies.
Yvonne is also a qualified coach who is keen on women in leadership and continues to make positive change within the organisations that she works with through her versatile coaching style and extensive training and facilitation expertise. She is adept at navigating the ropes to success in the business world as a woman, a mother, and a leader.
"My skills include performance and change management, project management, workforce transformation, quality and process improvement, culture and people strategy. I have an excellent understanding of commercial business problems and practical experience in applying relevant toolsets to successfully identify, analyse, design, develop and deploy people management solutions.
My primary goal is to improve leadership capability, employee performance and develop managers to create an environment where engagement, performance and innovation flow easily within their teams.
I do this using a non-traditional learning style with a unique combination of play, experiential learning, selected relevant models, story telling and flipped classroom."
Her senior colleagues have described her as resilient, grounded and as having a calming effect on teams especially in times of crisis. (See more under recommendations). She also calls herself a wanna-be influencer and a Brene Brown enthusiast. She is a Ted Talks loyalist and loves to travel.
